Go Nuts for Nautical Menswear Pieces
Menswear has gone Anchors Away this Season with Blue and White Stripes! We have spotted all sorts of nautical inspiration in fashion ranging from subtle blue and white striped socks to boldly patterned sweaters and cardigans. We most say, this sea-going aesthetic is ridiculously charming no matter how you go about it.
The first rule of going nautical is sticking to the basics of navy blues, whites, chambrays, ivories and denims. Invest in some basic nautical striped sweaters and cardigans and you’re halfway there. We also love the layering look when going nautical. You can layer a blazer over a sweater or a peacoat over a button down.
The key is keeping it simple. Don’t go too far when going nautical. For example, there’s no need to commit to an anchor tattoo or a need to purchase a boat. Even though, we sort of endorse both of those ideas!
