Business Travel can run the gamut from incredibly rewarding to unfathomably awful, and each of us has experienced the intensity of both. There’s no guarantee that you’re going land that next big account on your travel excursion but we thought you should do it in style and comfort and -optimism. There’s tricks to flying and one of them is doing it in a respectable style. There’s no need for anyone to see you in sweat pants at the airport! And everyone knows- The better you look and feel, the better you pitch.

The cornerstone to comfortable and chic business wear is the blazer. The fit of the blazer will define your aesthetic and your comfort level. You don’t want it too tight and you definitely don’t want it too loose. We recommend opting for a tailored wool blazer that won’t have the troublesome wrinkle effects that lighter fabrics do. Also, we recommend having the stewardess hang up your jacket for all flights long or short to guarantee you maintain a crisp look. We also tend to opt for white dress shirts and navy blazers for “away games.”
Airports require you to be fast on your toes with security checks and lugging around your luggage so you want to stay as streamlined as possible. Ties can sometimes be cumbersome, so we recommend wearing a bowtie. There’s no chance of getting your bowtie zipped in your luggage. Yes, it happened and it was wildly embarrassing -and unpleasant.
And add some extra panache by wearing a matching handkerchief with your head to toe ensemble. We love this graphic pattern that incorporates modern shades of blues, yellows and greens.

Trousers can be tough to pick out especially when you know you are traveling. You want to make sure that they fit correctly and that the waistline isn’t too tight. We’ve also noticed a higher success rate by wearing khakis or light toned trousers. Cotton table napkins always seem to lint up dark hued trousers in navy blues and blacks. Linted trousers is almost as bad as food stains.
