Tips on How to Look Creatively Cool at the Workplace

The professional landscape is changing at rapid speed and it’s hard to stay current with the ever-changed trends. We’re still trying to figure out what happened to Casual Fridays. Do they still exist? We don’t think they do! We have a seen a huge trend of what we have coined “The Creative Casual Cool” Dress Code. It means Casual Fridays are uncool, uncouth and unnecessary. The office dress code has been outsmarted and out styled by the Creative Cool Aesthetic that is a dressed up version of Casual Friday but somehow Office Approved five days a week. This style of dress unites the closet divide of workwear and casual wear into one style that is all yours.

The Merge is one of our favorite Creative Casual strategies.   This combination of denim and menswear suiting has a burgeoning enthusiasm that is hard to resist.   The combination of the cotton suiting, the striped tie and the denim jacket is just as revered at the office as it is on a date. There’s no need for coming home to change with this handsome aesthetic.

The Utilitarian look is unfathomably dapper and functional. As bike commuters ourselves, we love this polished combination of a poplin button down, a cashmere cardigan sweater, selvedge denim, colorful socks and classic oxfords. This gentleman embodies the Creative Casual Cool Dress Code.

The Quintessential is the clever combination of the classic navy blue blazer and denim jeans.  This outfit is anchored by the fit and the craftsmanship of the pieces.  We love the modern day appeal of this fresh look.  We also love the polka dot tie and the cross chest satchel.
