Tweed sports coats are available in a variety of different patterns, with plaid and herringbone being not only the most popular, but also the most versatile. When it comes to choosing color or pattern scale, you can use your personal preference and discretion in doing so, as each comes with its own unique pairing possibilities. Keep in mind, however, that “busy” patterns often result in a less versatile coat, and should be avoided if at all possible.
Go With Bold-Colored Pants
Tweed sport coats are actually capable of exuding a great deal of depth; something that cannot be said for solid-colored coats.
