Pocket Squares are re-emerging as a major menswear trend and we can see why!  The pocket square is the simplest way to quickly and cleverly add color, pattern, dimension and modern day bravado to a suit, sportscoat or blazer. We are hard pressed to find an accessory  to out rival the pure simplicity and versatility of the menswear pocket square. Your options are endless when it comes to accessorizing with solid color pocket squares, patterned pocket squares and pocket square sets.

One trend we are loving is seeing pattern broken up with solid color pocket squares. We love the look of this refined blue pocket square tucked into the this plaid jacket.  This could be done with any number of patterns including textured tweeds, herringbone, stripes, etc. This look can be worn with out a tie or perhaps a solid hued necktie that matches the pocket square.

Wearing a pocket square doesn’t have to be formal and fancy.  They can easily be paired with a much more casual look like a cotton blazer, broken in chinos and no tie. We like the use of the bandana looking pocket square that coordinate with the patterned plaid shirt. This casual look is highly successful as well as wearable.

Pocket Squares are great at breaking up color.  We love the use of the white pocket square to break up the navy blue blazer, navy blue tie and navy blue scarf. The white pocket square adds the ideal punch of contrast to the otherwise monochromatic ensemble.

No matter what look you are going for, the pocket square can be a helpful and stylish accessory. We recommend investing in a variety of pocket squares to mix and match with  your favorite pieces.
