Thrift stores not only allow you to purchase clothing at a fraction of what it might cost if it was new, but you can usually find pieces that are no longer in production. Given the popularity of vintage clothing, more and more people are beginning to shop at thrift stores. You’ll want to be picky about where you shop, however; some thrift stores don’t put a lot of stock in what they purchase, which means you might run into items that are tainted with stains or rips. So long as you keep a close and watchful eye on the items you intend to purchase, however, this should not hinder your shopping experience.
